Summary
We redesigned and developed the international corporate website for Revlon Professional — one of the world's most recognized professional beauty brands. The project centered on a complete rebuild of their digital presence: premium brand expression, multi-market product catalog, and a content architecture that marketing could actually manage without engineering dependency.

Concept · Find your salon
Certified salons with their specialities, rating, opening hours and online booking, filterable by location, services and certifications.

Concept · Looks feed
Work from certified salons in real time: stories, posts with their formula and trends.

Concept · Course page
Level, modular syllabus, duration, certification and enrolment, with the Revlon products used in the course.
The problem
Revlon Professional had a web presence that no longer matched the brand it represented. The platform was technically dated, hard to update, and fell short of the international markets it needed to serve.
- Technically outdated platform with high maintenance cost and fragile infrastructure.
- Product catalog managed manually — every update required developer intervention.
- No unified international architecture: different markets, disconnected experiences.
- Mobile experience well below the brand's premium standards.
- Slow load times impacting SEO rankings and conversion across key markets.
Objective
- Deliver a premium digital presence consistent with Revlon Professional's brand positioning.
- Build an editorial layer for marketing to manage content independently.
- Architect a scalable multi-market product catalog.
- Hit Core Web Vitals targets across all key international markets.
Approach
A headless CMS architecture: editorial flexibility for the marketing team, performance control for the engineering team. Next.js handles rendering, the CMS handles content, and the boundary between them is clean. No compromises in either direction.
What we built
Brand & editorial system
Visual system translated precisely to the web — typography, spacing and interaction patterns aligned with global brand guidelines across every market.
Headless CMS layer
Full editorial control for the marketing team: product updates, market-specific copy, promotional content — all without engineering dependency.
Multi-market product catalog
Catalog structured for international markets with filtering, search and regional availability logic. Scalable as the product range grows.
Performance layer
Core Web Vitals optimization, image pipeline, edge caching and SSG/ISR hybrid rendering — fast everywhere, not just in the demo.
Revlon Pro Color World app
The site leads to the app that replaces traditional color charts in salon color consultations.
Training platform
Courses with level, modular syllabus, duration, certification and related products.
Salon locator
Certified salons by city or location, with service and certification filters, map or list view and online booking.
Looks feed
Work from certified salons in a social feed with stories, trends and profiles to follow.
